Description
No. 14 Dinham is a house dating from the early 17th century. It features painted brick, timber-frame, and plaster construction, topped with a twin-gabled plain tile roof and a brick stack on the left side. The building has a two-bay plan and stands three stories tall with a two-window range. The windows are late 18th-century, two-light metal casements set in chevron braced box framing, located under a jetty. Above, there are similar smaller casements with plain architraves and coved sills. The eaves are adorned with 20th-century pierced barge boards. The entrance is positioned to the center right and consists of a part-glazed fielded panel door beneath a moulded flat hood supported by moulded pilasters. This entrance is flanked by wood mullion and transom windows with metal lights and casements, all set in painted brick.
