Description
17 and 18 Dinham are late 18th-century houses that have been converted into a single residence. They are constructed of brick and topped with a graduated Welsh slate roof, featuring a coped gable parapet and a brick end stack. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the wing of No. 18 extending to the rear.
The structure is two stories tall and includes a cellar, with a three-window facade. This features two 4/8 sash windows and a central metal lattice casement set in an altered opening, flanked by blind openings, all of which are set beneath segmental arches. The eaves are moulded brick.
The entrance to No. 17 is located to the center left and consists of a six-panel door with an ornamental fanlight, all framed within a moulded round-headed case that has a moulded architrave and plain pilasters. To the left of the entrance is an 8/8 sash window under a gauged brick arch, while to the right are two blind openings and an additional plank door with an overlight, all beneath gauged brick arches.
The left side and rear wing are made of rubble and brick, featuring a brick ridge stack and a two-light lattice casement under a brick segmental arch, along with two possible ventilation slits.
