Description

This is an 18th-century house located in Ludlow. It is constructed of brick with a plain tile roof and a brick end stack. The house is three storeys high with a basement and has a three-window front. The upper floors feature six-over-six sash windows in moulded surrounds, each set beneath a gauged brick flat arch. The ground floor has two three-over-three sash windows in similar surrounds, and one blocked opening, also under a gauged brick flat arch. The eaves are finished with moulded wood modillions. An entrance, positioned to the left, features a six-panel door with a fanlight, all within a round-headed case topped by a moulded open-pediment hood supported on Ionic pilasters. To the right of the entrance are two sash windows matching those above. The rear of the property has twin gabled wings, rendered and with plain tile roofs. These wings contain mullion and transom windows to the ground and first floors, each with a three-over-three sash under a cambered arch.
