Description

This is an early 19th-century house located in Ludlow. It is constructed of stucco over brick, with a Welsh slate roof and two brick ridge stacks. The house follows a central staircase plan and is two storeys high with a two-window front. The central part features a canted bay with plain sash windows, moulded pilasters, and a cornice. Above the entrance is a plain sash window with a grooved stucco lintel. The barge boards are ornamented with finials. The central entrance has a part-glazed, panelled door and overlight, set within a grooved stucco architrave and a moulded stone hood. To the left of the entrance is a larger canted bay with plain sashes and a prominent cornice. To the right is a plain sash window matching the one above the entrance. A rear wing includes a brick lateral stack, a 20th-century casement window, and a blocked opening with a grooved stucco lintel within the gable.
