Description

This is an 18th-century house on Mill Street, Ludlow. It is constructed of roughcast brick with old tile roofing and brick end and central stacks. The building is symmetrical in design, with three storeys and a cellar, and a three-window front. The windows are 2/2 sash windows within moulded surrounds with cambered heads, all beneath stucco lintels. A continuous sill band runs along the second floor, matching the fenestration below. The central entrance has a glazed door with cross panels, set within a moulded architrave and topped with a 19th-century moulded hood supported by consoles, flanked by matching sash windows. The rear elevation incorporates 20th-century casement windows to the second floor, set above a mix of 20th and 18th-century windows, all within segmental arches.
