Description

This is an early 18th-century house located on Mill Street in Ludlow. The house is constructed of brick, with a Welsh slate roof. It is two storeys and an attic in height, with a symmetrical single-window front. The ground floor has a 6/6 sash window with broad glazing bars, set beneath a gauged brick flat arch with a stucco keyblock. The eaves are moulded. A gable dormer features a 20th-century 6/6 sash window in a moulded case and bargeboards. The right-hand side entrance has a 6-panel door with a shallow overlight, all protected by a 19th-century moulded pediment hood supported by brackets. To the left is a further 6/6 sash window. The rear elevation is of painted brick, with an 8/8 sash window under a segmental arch and a gable dormer containing a 3/6 sash window. A brick stack is also present on the rear.
