Description

This is an 18th-century house located on Mill Street in Ludlow. The building is constructed of painted brick with a plain tile roof and a central brick chimney stack. It is three storeys high, with a cellar, and has a four-window front. The windows are 2/2 sash windows set in moulded surrounds with cambered heads, and they are all topped with gauged brick segmental arches. A band runs across the front of the building between the floors. The second-floor windows are similarly detailed. The central entrance has a panelled door with cross panels, set within a moulded architrave and a 19th-century moulded hood supported by consoles. Sashes flank the entrance. To the right of the entrance, a passage leads to the rear of the building, with a 19th-century plank door set under a gauged brick segmental arch. The right gable displays timber framing with brick infill.
