Description
Number 19 is a house, now used as an office, built in 1790. It features painted brick with a stucco basement and painted ashlar dressings, topped with a slate roof and a single gable stack. The building has a rusticated basement with a lintel band, ground-floor and first-floor sill bands, a first-floor band, and moulded dentillated wooden eaves, along with a single coped gable. It stands three storeys tall, plus a basement, and has a two-window range. The windows primarily have keystone lintels, with two 12-pane sashes on the ground floor and two 6-pane sashes above. The ground floor also includes two 12-pane sashes and, to the right, a wooden doorcase featuring engaged Doric columns and a dentillated pediment, with a fielded 6-panel door and a fanlight. The basement has two 9-pane sashes. Outside, there are plain wrought-iron railings surrounding the area and steps.
