Description

Hurst Farm and Hurst Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from around 1800. They are constructed of coursed sandstone with quoins at the right end and feature a stone slate roof, which has one chimney on the ridge and another at the right gable. The cottages have a double-depth, two-bay plan, with each cottage occupying one bay. They are two storeys tall, with each cottage having a doorway with a plain surround to the left. Each cottage also has one stepped triple-light window on each floor; the ground floor windows have narrow side lights, while the upper floor windows have lights of equal width. At the rear, there are flush mullion windows.
