Description

Pound Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed from coursed sandstone rubble with brick quoins and feature a hipped plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical front, highlighted by a large central chimney stack and smaller stacks at each end. On the first floor, there are four two-light diamond-pane casements, while the ground floor has four plain casements with cambered heads. The entrances are located to the left and right of the center.
