Description
Yew Tree Cottage and Ivy Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century, with later alterations. They are constructed of dressed sandstone and have a pantile roof with brick stacks. The cottages are two stories high and feature a symmetrical front with four windows. There is a 20th-century door to the center left and a four-panel door to the center right, both of which have a divided overlight. The door on the left is flanked by four-pane sash windows, while the door on the right is accompanied by two-light, small-pane horizontal sliding sashes. All openings have heavy milled lintels, and stone sills are present beneath all windows. There are stacks at both ends and in the center of the building.
