Description

The Kilns is a house dating from the late 18th century, with later alterations and an extension. The front is made of squared sandstone, while the left side and rear are constructed from sandstone rubble. It features a pantile roof and rebuilt brick stacks. Originally, it had a two-cell gable-entry plan, with a rear extension added later. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The entrance is located in the rear extension. On the ground floor, there are 20th-century cross windows with raised keyblock lintels. The first floor has two-light casements, and all windows have stone sills. The left side has a coped gable and a shaped kneeler, with end stacks present.
