Description

No. 212 Gilesgate is a house from the late 18th century. It has a rendered exterior with a painted ashlar plinth and dressings, topped by a Welsh slate roof and brick chimneys. The building is three storeys high and features three bays. The central door is accompanied by a two-paned overlight set in a plain reveal. There are projecting stone sills beneath the sash windows, which have glazing bars, and a blank bay is located above the door. The end chimneys are present, with the right one being rendered. At the time of the survey, the property was empty and in a derelict state. It is included in the listing for its group value.
