Description

No. 64 Claypath is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with an ashlar plinth and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring one bay. There are two steps leading up to a partly-glazed six-panelled door located to the right, which is framed by deeply-fluted pilasters and topped with a cornice. The windows have painted wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills, and they contain sashes with glazing bars. The roof is hipped towards the street, and there is a chimney on the left side. Additionally, there is a cellar shute beside the door that has an iron grille.
