Description

This is a mid-18th century house located in Claypath, Durham and Framwellgate. It is rendered with a plinth and has a Welsh slate roof with flat stone gable coping. The house has a T-shaped plan and two storeys, with three bays. The central entrance features a four-panelled door within a panelled surround, and is protected by wrought-iron brackets supporting a hood. The flanking bays contain renewed sash windows with painted projecting stone sills. The left gable's coping includes a curved kneeler. A rear wing ridge rises above the main roof ridge. A foot-scraper is set into a recess on the front elevation.
