Description

No. 70 Claypath is a house and shop, now functioning as a restaurant, dating from the late 18th century. The building features incised stucco with a felt-covered roof and a brick chimney. It has two storeys and two bays. The shop front is enhanced by early 19th-century slender pilasters that flank the door and window. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars and plain reveals. A small ventilator is located in the roof.
