Description

This is a house dating to around 1820, located on Claypath in Durham and Framwellgate. It is constructed of incised stucco with a rendered plinth, and has a Welsh slate roof with brick chimneys. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with an overlight, set within pilasters and a cornice. The two windows on each floor are late 19th-century sash windows with painted projecting stone sills. A first-floor band runs along the front elevation. The steeply pitched roof incorporates two rear chimneys.
