Description

No. 220 Gilesgate is a house built in the mid-18th century. It features painted incised stucco with painted ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof with brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, although some have been renewed, and they have projecting stone sills. There is no visible door on the property. The roof has swept eaves and end chimneys.
