Description

Two houses, dating from around 1830. They are built with Flemish bond brick, featuring a painted ashlar plinth and brick dressings, and have a Welsh slate roof. Each house is two storeys high, with an attic to number 210, and has three bays. Each house has a central six-panelled door; the door to number 209 is partly glazed, and both have overlights with patterned glazing bars, set in deep reveals. The doors are sheltered by Tuscan doorcases with prominent cornices. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills; the window above the door of number 209 is blind. A three-light attic window has been inserted into the right-hand side of number 210. Brick chimneys are located at each end of the building.
