Description

No. 1 Church Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a Welsh slate roof with brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and four bays. The second bay contains a six-panel door with an overlight above it. There is also a boarded door with an overlight leading to a through passageway in the right bay. The windows are 12-pane margined sashes with projecting sills. The roof is gabled, with flat coping, a kneeler, an old brick ridge stack, and a later end stack.
