Description

Nos. 2 and 3 Market Place is a shop and house dating from the early 19th century. The building is roughcast with painted stone quoins and surrounds. It has two storeys and four bays. In the third bay, there is a panelled door with an 8-pane overlight set in a raised stone surround. To the left, there is a 20th-century shop front featuring pilasters and a corniced fascia. The other windows are renewed 12-pane sashes in raised surrounds. The building has a gabled roof with a rendered brick end stack.
