Description

This is a late 18th-century shop and flats located on the east side of High Street, Belford. The building is constructed of dressed stone with a Welsh slate roof and renewed brick end stacks. It extends over two storeys and comprises three bays. The front features a rubble plinth and a set of three steps leading to a centrally positioned six-panel door with an overlight. To the left of the door is a 12-pane sash window. A later 19th-century shop front is located to the right, with a central door and a corniced fascia. Above this shop front is a cornice, and above that three renewed 12-pane sash windows. The steeply-pitched gabled roof is finished with raised coping and kneelers, and contains three 20th-century dormers.
