Description
3 Old Dixton Road is a building with rough cast render that has been painted, topped with a pantiled roof. It features a double depth central entrance plan. Originally, it was two storeys with an attic and dormers, but it has since been raised to three storeys with two windows. The early to mid 19th century shop front consists of one shallow bay with six lights arranged in a 6 x 4 configuration, and a central partially glazed panel door beneath a common cornice. To the left, there is a 6 over 6 pane sash window. The first floor windows are also 6 over 6 pane sashes, while the upper floor windows are 20th century steel casements. The building has a low pitch roof with a brick stack on the left gable. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior was not observed during the resurvey.
