Description
Nos. 5 and 7 Old Dixton Road are three-storey buildings with a rendered and painted exterior, likely over rubble stone, and a Welsh slate roof. The front of the buildings features one window for No. 5 and an additional window for No. 7 on the first floor. No. 5 has a door on the right side and a small shopfront beneath a continuous cornice. No. 7 has a door with a hood supported by brackets on the left and a 6 over 6 pane sash window. The first floor has three 6 over 6 pane sashes, while the second floor has two 3 over 6 pane sashes. The roof is plain with no chimneys. The left side of No. 7 displays a panelled door with a pedimented hood on brackets and a small window to the right on the ground floor, with a blind window above. This side also shows the batter in the front wall and includes a two-storey rear wing, although the rear elevation was not seen. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
