Description
Nos. 5 and 7 Old Dixton Road are three-storey buildings with rendered and painted exteriors, likely over rubble stone, and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The front facade features one window for each building, with an additional window on the first floor of No. 7. No. 5 has a door located to the right and a small shopfront beneath a continuous cornice. No. 7 has a door with a hood supported by brackets on the left side and a 6 over 6 pane sash window. The first floor of both buildings contains three 6 over 6 pane sashes, while the second floor has two 3 over 6 pane sashes. The roofs are plain without any stacks. The left side of No. 7 displays a panelled door with a pedimented hood on brackets and a small window to the right on the ground floor, with a blind window above. This side also reveals the batter in the front wall and includes a two-storey rear wing. The rear elevation has not been observed. The interior has not been seen during the resurvey.
