Description
Nos 5 and 6 High Street are two asymmetrical, two-storey buildings featuring a three-window range. They are constructed of white-washed rubble stone on boulder footings and topped with slate roofs that have stone end stacks. The windows are two-light wooden casements with flat heads and stone sills, with those on the upper storey positioned just beneath the eaves. The doors are boarded and also have flat heads.
No 6 is slightly smaller than No 5, with a doorway on the left and a window on the right. There is a very small four-pane window to the left of the doorway and a single casement window on the upper storey. The east gable end of No 6 adjoins another building. At the rear, there is a cat-slide lean-to that features 20th-century split doors and casement windows, along with skylights in the roof pitch.
There was no access to the interior at the time of inspection.
