Description
Nos 5 and 6 High Street is an asymmetrical, two-storey building featuring a three-window range. It is constructed from white-washed rubble stone set on boulder footings, topped with slate roofs and stone end stacks. The windows are two-light wooden casements with flat heads and stone sills, with those on the upper storey positioned directly beneath the eaves. The doors are boarded and also have flat heads.
No 5 is slightly larger than No 6, with a doorway on the right and a window on the left. The windows on the upper storey are aligned above those on the lower storey. The west gable end is rendered and has a small wooden window to the left on the upper storey. To the left of No 5, there is a 20th-century rear wing made of brick with an end stack and a west entrance that features a part-lit door.
There was no access to the interior at the time of inspection.
