Description
10 High Street is a two-window cottage dating from the 18th century, featuring one-and-a-half storeys. It is built of white-washed rubble stone and has a slate roof with stone stacks at each end. The entrance is slightly offset to the left and includes a gabled porch canopy supported by timber struts, leading to a 20th-century boarded door. Flanking the entrance are two-light wooden casement windows with flat heads. Above, there are gabled half-dormers that contain two-light small-pane wooden casements. At the rear, there is a long single-storey lean-to with a small 20th-century window to the left and a small light centered above the lean-to. The west gable end is rendered, while the east gable end has no openings but features a 20th-century door leading into the side of the rear lean-to. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
