Description

This is a square, red telephone call-box made of cast iron. It features a domed roof with four small windows, known as lunettes, which have embossed crowns above red-lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds, and the horizontal glazing includes marginal bars. The call-box has a moulded plinth and a blank rear side. The foundry plate is not visible.
