Description
12 High Street is a two-storey, two-window cottage built from white-washed rubble stone. It features a rendered end stack on the left side and an offset doorway on the right, which has a wide boarded door. Flanking the doorway are two-light wooden casement windows with flat heads and stone sills. The upper storey has similar casements located just beneath the eaves, although the right-hand window is not aligned with the one below. The west gable end is roughcast. There is a lean-to structure against the east gable end, which includes a 20th-century wooden window beneath a segmental brick head on the front elevation. A boundary wall extends to the left of the lean-to, featuring a boarded door under a brick head that leads to the garden. The upper storey of the rear has a two-light wooden casement window to the left of centre and a 20th-century window to its left, while the lower storey is not visible. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
