Description
Nos 1 and 2 Berwyn House are asymmetrical, two-storey buildings with a three-window range, built from coursed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. They feature red brick end stacks with yellow brick banding. The panelled doors, which have small-pane overlights, are grouped in the center. The windows are horned sash types with margin glazing, set beneath flat heads with stone sills.
No 1 is larger than No 2, with its doorway located to the right and a window to the left, with the upper storey windows aligned directly above. An original external stone stack can be seen on the north gable end. The upper storey at the rear has two four-pane horned sash windows on the right, with the right window being wider. There is also a sash window with stained glass, likely a stairlight, on the far left. The lower storey was not visible during the inspection, and there was no access to the interior.
