Description
14 Cross Street is a three-storey building with a rendered and painted front and a natural slate roof. It features a double depth central entry plan and has two windows framed by quoin pilasters, along with a band at the second floor level. The ground floor has a mainly 20th-century full-width shopfront that includes a central entrance, flanking display windows, and large Victorian scroll brackets at either end of the fascia. The upper floors are fitted with 8 over 8 pane sash windows. The building has deep eaves and a low-pitched roof, with a red brick stack located on the left gable. The rear elevation has not been inspected. The interior was not seen during the resurvey, but it is noted that the ground floor has been altered in the 20th century.
