Description
10 Cross Street is a building with a rendered and painted exterior and a natural slate roof. It has a double depth plan with a central entry and stands three storeys tall, featuring two windows on the front. The ground floor includes a late 20th-century shop front with arched timber mullions supporting plate glass windows and a continuous fascia. On the first floor, there are French casements with 4 + 4 panes that open onto a small full-width balcony, which has a decorative wrought iron railing. The second floor features three over three pane sash windows. The building has deep projecting eaves supported by paired brackets and a plain low pitch roof with a stack on the right ridge. The rear elevation has not been inspected. The interior was not available during the resurvey, but the ground floor has been completely altered in the late 20th century.
