Description
Nos. 11 and 11A Cross Street is a building with a rendered and painted front and a natural slate roof, dating from the 19th century. It features a double depth plan with the entrance located to the left. The building stands three storeys high and has three windows. The ground floor includes a shop front faced with black granite, featuring bronze framed display windows in two lights on either side, and a deep fascia that conceals the bottoms of the windows above. The first floor has windows with 6 over 6 pane sashes, while the second floor has 3 over 6 pane sashes. The building has deep eaves supported by paired brackets and a plain roof with a stack that has diamond set flues on the right gable. The upstairs section of No. 11 serves as a house. The rear elevation has not been inspected. The interior was not available during the resurvey, and the ground floor has been completely altered in the late 20th century.
