Description
Hafan comprises a pair of two-storey cottages constructed from blocks of quarried stone laid in regular courses, with stone lintels, a renewed slate roof, and stone stacks to the right of each cottage. Number 1 is double-fronted, with a replacement half-glazed door and overlight at the central entrance. The windows are 2-pane sashes, replacements in original openings, and are shorter in the upper storey. Number 2 is a four-window house. It has a replacement door and overlight to the right of the centre, and all its windows are replacements in earlier openings. To the right of the entrance doorway is a former doorway that has been converted into a window, and there is a smaller window at the end of the elevation. To the left of the entrance is a small window, a window within a former doorway, and a blocked small window at the left end. The upper storey has four windows. A pebble-dashed gable end on the left-hand side features an inserted window in the lower storey. These cottages are part of a group that also includes 1-2 Y Graig (Sunnyside), Tremadog.
