Description
This is a short row of houses, part of a larger group called 3-5 Y Graig (Sunnyside) in Tremadog. The houses were built of roughly dressed blocks of stone laid in regular courses, with stone and slate-stone lintels. They have a renewed slate roof and four stone chimney stacks, the right-hand stack being partly pebble-dashed.
Number 5, on the left-hand side, is a double-fronted house with a replacement fielded-panel door and overlight. The lower storey has a horned sash window with 8 panes over 2 to the left, and a similar hornless sash window with 6 panes over 2 to the right. The upper storey has hornless sash windows with 8 panes over 2.
Number 4 was originally a pair of single-fronted cottages reflected in design and has hornless sash windows with 8 panes over 2. It has a boarded door with an overlight towards the right-hand side. A horned window is positioned to the left of the door, set within the location of a former doorway.
Number 3, at the right-hand end of the row, also began as a pair of single-fronted cottages, reflected in design. A replacement boarded door and overlight are positioned to the left of the centre. The windows are 4-pane sashes. A window, set within the location of a former doorway, is situated to the right of the entrance. A single-storey lean-to addition has been constructed against the right-hand gable end.
