Description
6-8 Sunnyside, Tremadog is a short row of houses constructed from roughly dressed blocks of stone arranged in regular courses, featuring stone lintels and a slate roof with four chimneys. The left end chimney is pebble-dashed, the next is coursed stone, followed by a smaller rebuilt roughcast chimney to the right of center, and a pebble-dashed chimney at the right end.
No. 8, located at the left end, is single-fronted with openings offset to the left of center. Its entrance on the right includes a half-glazed door with an overlight. On the left side, there is a 2-pane hornless sash window, and above it, a similar horned sash window. The left gable end is pebble-dashed in the upper storey and gable, and there is an added wing at the back.
No. 7 is double-fronted, featuring a split boarded door with a thin overlight and 2-pane sash windows, which are slightly wider on the lower left. No. 6 is also double-fronted, with windows and a door that have been replaced in their original openings. A lean-to with a corrugated iron roof is set back on the right side, and the right gable end is pebble-dashed.
This group of houses, 6-8 Y Graig (Sunnyside), is noted for its architectural significance.
