Description
21 Y Graig (Sunnyside) is part of a terrace of five two-storey houses located in Tremadog, constructed from local stone. The stonework is roughly coursed and squared for No 9, while the other houses feature random rubble with larger quoins. Each house has stone lintels, a slate roof, and six stone chimney stacks. No 21 is a later addition to the terrace and is single-fronted, with its windows and door on the right, both of which have been replaced in their original openings. The left gable end of No 21 is painted black, and there is a lean-to at the back. A vertical joint marks the separation between Nos 20 and 21. Nos 20, 19, and 10 are also single-fronted with entrances on the right. No 20 is the best preserved of the group, featuring a boarded door with an overlight and four-pane hornless sash windows. Nos 19 and 9 have had their doors and windows replaced in the late 20th century, but still retain their original openings. No 9 is double-fronted and also has its door and windows replaced in original openings, along with a flat-roof rear wing. This terrace belongs to a group that includes 9-10 and 19-21 Y Graig (Sunnyside).
