Description

This is a terrace of five 2-storey houses, part of a larger group at 9-10, 19-21, Y Graig (Sunnyside), Tremadog. They are constructed from local stone; the stone is roughly coursed and squared to No 9, and elsewhere it is random rubble with larger quoins. The buildings have stone lintels, a slate roof, and six stone stacks. No 21 was a later addition to the row and is single-fronted, with new windows and a door replacing the originals. The left-hand gable end is painted black, and a lean-to adjoins the rear. A vertical joint is visible between Nos 20 and 21. Numbers 20, 19 and 10 are single-fronted, with entrances located on the right-hand side. No 20 is the best preserved of the row and retains a boarded door with an overlight, and four-pane hornless sash windows. Numbers 19 and 9 have had their doors and windows replaced in the late C20, set within the original openings. No 9 is double-fronted with replacement doors and windows in the original openings and has a flat-roof rear wing.
