Description
Bodawen Lodge is a pair of two-storey cottages built from squared blocks of quarried stone, laid in regular courses and painted white. They feature a hipped slate roof with slightly overhanging eaves and stone stacks at each end. A central half-glazed lean-to porch provides access, with doors that have glazed panels for each house. The outer sides of the cottages have 2-light casement windows in their original openings. The upper-storey windows still have earlier diamond-pattern wooden glazing bars, with horizontal sliding sashes at each end, a fixed window to the left of centre (No 2), and a 2-light casement to the right of centre (No 1). The end walls have added lean-tos, with the right-hand one set back. This building is part of a group with 1-2 Bodawen Lodge.
