Description
Penrhos is a pair of 2-storey cottages built from rubble stone, topped with slate roofs and featuring a central shared stone stack. The left-hand cottage is the older of the two, distinguished by a vertical joint and original large quoins that separate the dwellings. Each cottage has doorways at the outer ends, which are covered by timber lintels and have replaced half-lit boarded doors. The windows throughout are casements that have been replaced in earlier openings. In the right-hand cottage, the lower storey window is set beneath a stone segmental head, while the left-hand cottage window is under a timber lintel. The upper storey windows are positioned beneath the wall plate. Additionally, the left-hand cottage includes a small pantry window under a lintel in the gable end.
