Description

Nurse Cottage is a pair of two-storey cottages built from whitened rubble stone, featuring a replaced concrete tile roof and end stone stacks. The doorways are located on the inner sides of the cottages. On the left side, there is a replaced boarded door, while the right side has been infilled and replaced with a top-hung casement window. Similar top-hung casements are found on the outer sides of the lower storey, which have been inserted into original openings to replace horizontal sashes in the upper storey. The right-hand cottage includes a single-storey projection on its right side, which has a boarded door. The rear of each cottage has lower flat-roofed projections.

Inside, each cottage retains a single-unit layout, featuring a simple fireplace stair with wooden treads and balusters. There are cupboards with wooden doors on either side of the fireplace.
