Description
Lower House at Bron Fadog is a 2-storey house built from rubble stone, featuring larger quoins. The roof is covered with old small slates, likely replacing the original thatch, and there is a stone stack on the west side. The house faces north and has a 2-window front elevation, with small square upper-storey windows positioned below the eaves. The central doorway is flanked by square windows. On the left gable end, there is a stone stair leading up to a first-floor doorway.
Inside, the lower storey is divided into 2 rooms and includes a large stop-chamfered cross beam along with some chamfered joists. There are remnants of wooden shutters with strap hinges on some windows, and a large fireplace is located at the west end. The roof structure consists of a single pegged oak roof truss and purlins.
