Description
The School House is a two-storey building constructed of grey rubble stone, featuring larger quoins on the left side and a slate roof with a brick stack also on the left. Each storey has a single four-pane horned sash window with a stone sill, and the lower storey window has a wedge lintel. Between the windows, there is a datestone. To the right, there is a flat-roofed stone porch that covers the entrance doorway. On the left, set back, is an additional block designed in a similar style, which has a brick stack on the left and a small-pane window on the ground floor. The rear of the building retains a 16-pane horned sash window on the upper floor, while the other windows have been replaced with casements. In front of the house, there are contemporary iron railings with spear finials, along with stone gatepiers and an iron gate.
