Description
Penllwyn is a two-storey building constructed of white painted rubble, topped with a slate roof featuring timber eaves and bargeboards. It has rubble gable chimney-stacks, with the left one being thicker and a drip detail on the right chimney. The front of the building has three bays, offset to the right. The upper level features small 6/3-pane hornless sash windows with cambered stone voussoired heads. On the ground floor, there is a twelve-pane hornless sash window to the left and a later 4-pane horned sash window to the right, both with similar stone heads above. The windows are set on slate sills, and there is a 20th-century central door with a lintel.
To the right, there is a later single-storey two-bay extension that matches the construction of the main house. This extension includes a boarded stable-type door on the left and a small 20th-century window on the right. The property is enclosed by a rubble forecourt wall, featuring a late 19th-century cast iron gate in the center, flanked by square stone piers.
The interior was not available for inspection.
