Description
Glanrafon is a house constructed from white-painted rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring white-painted stone end stacks that have slate dripstones and caps. The building is two storeys tall and has a double-fronted design, with the entrance door positioned closer to the right window. It features 19th-century cross windows on each floor, with the lower windows adorned with stone voussoirs. The half-glazed door also has stone voussoirs, while the upper windows break the eaves beneath 19th-century bargeboarded gables that include finials. Slate sills are present throughout.
To the right of the main structure is a lower two-storey addition made of corrugated iron. This addition has a large sash window with marginal glazing bars on the first floor, a door to the left on the ground floor, an attached single casement window to the left, and a pair of casement windows to the right, which are centrally located within the range.
At the rear, there are two pairs of casement windows on the first floor, which do not align with a large casement pair featuring four top-lights on the ground floor to the left, and a French window located to the right of centre, both of which have shaped heads on the top panes. The rear of the addition includes two sashes with marginal glazing bars above and one four-pane sash window on the ground floor to the right.
