Description
The Black Lion Inn is a 2-storey, 3-unit inn dating from the 18th century. It features a white-washed rendered front beneath an old slate roof, with stone stacks at each end. The building has raised quoins with decorative ends and raised surrounds around the openings, each adorned with keystones and a decorative boss on either side. The entrance is slightly offset to the left of center and includes a wide, late 20th-century boarded door with a small light. The windows consist of 4-pane sashes, with two flanking the entrance and three aligned in the upper storey. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
