Description

Gwerniago is a house built of rubble and whitewashed, with a slate roof and gable stone stacks. The main part of the house dates to an unknown period, with two storeys and three bays. To the left, a lower, one-and-a-half-storey range adjoins it. The central entrance has a part-glazed door with a five-pane overlight, and there are 12-pane sash windows with unhorned glass to the right, and three similar windows to the first floor. A larger 16-pane sash window is located to the left of the entrance door on the ground floor. All windows have painted timber lintels. The service building has a door and a small window, both under a timber lintel, and a tall gable-end stack. The rear elevation is rendered and has two window bays. A modern extension with a flat roof extends across the full length of the ground floor.
