Description
Gogarth Hall is a building constructed from rubble stonework and whitewashed, topped with a slate roof. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a symmetrical front with two window bays and a central entrance. The entrance includes a four-panelled door with a patterned overlight, which is set within a later open-fronted lean-to porch. On either side of the entrance are 12-pane sash windows, with similar windows on the first floor, where the heads are raised through the eaves and gabled. The gable ends have stone stacks.
The house has been extended, likely in the mid-19th century, by an additional two bays at the northeast end, which also feature similar windows on the ground and first floors, along with a small multi-paned window for the attic. A lean-to on the right side of the end bay connects to a former service range, which is now separate accommodation. The rear elevation displays irregular windows, with a large rear wing on the left and a single-storey lean-to at the back of the main house.
Inside, the interior has been extensively modernised in the late 19th century, showcasing boldly moulded cornices, chair rails, doors and architraves, along with other period details.
