Description

Ynys Einion is a house, formerly a vicarage, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with red brick detailing and has slate eaves roofs and brick chimneys. The main part of the house is two storeys high, with a three-window front. Small brick stack sits behind the ridge towards the right. It features long four-pane sash windows, with segmental-pointed brick surrounds and slate sills; the ground floor windows are slightly larger. A half-glazed door is centrally positioned, flanked by side-lights and topped with a large overlight. A basement window is located to the left. Red brick bands run at sill level on both floors, and a double band is positioned at the head level of the ground floor windows.

The west side has a gable to the right, featuring timber verge boards and a two-window range projecting forward from the two-window range to the left. Brick stacks are situated on the roof slope to the left of the gable and at the left end. The east side has a similar window at mid height and includes a rear wing. The building has not been inspected internally.
